Handbags by Tennile supports Relay for Life and the American Cancer Society.
In January 2010 I lost my sister to cancer. She was 38 years young. She was very strong through her battle with this disease, never complaining, never asking for help. Her strength amazed us. Her battle started with breast cancer shortly after her son was born, she went through treatment and then into remission. But her battle wasn't over for long, it came back but this time it was attacking other parts of her body. We're thankful for the time we spent with her and the memories we hold dear to our hearts. As a family we wanted to do something to honor those who lost their battle, support those in the battle and celebrate with those cancer free. We researched all of the options out there and found Relay for Life to be the option we liked most. Through Relay for Life we knew that each and every penny we raised would go to the American Cancer Society. In honor of my sister, Sheri, I'm starting a campaign with a perticular fabric making handbags and wallets, then taking 10% of those sales and donating it to the American Cancer Society. Below is the first handbag made for this campaign.....
